Shinn Estate vineyards is absorbed in the pursuit of growing great, sustainably-created wines. Founders Barbara Shinn and David Page foster holistic and Biodynamic-based winegrowing, bringing evidence that harmony amongst the vines brings grace and clarity to their wines. Their soil is fed a diet of 100% organic inputs, including composted pressings from their own winemaking. The balanced ecosystem in the vineyard allows beneficial insects to keep troublesome ones in check, therefore lending the ability to manage insects organically. Their soil is alive with minerals, and the natural yeasts allow Shinn Estate to ferment their wines with their own yeasts. Their small acreage allows for a cleaner, healthier, environmentally-friendly form of farming. The Farmhouse Inn, located in the Shinn Estate homestead, is available year-round as a bed and breakfast. There are 4 guest rooms including private baths and vineyard views
