Namu Gaji is a family owned and operated restaurant offering new California, Asian-inspired cuisine that is sustainable, seasonal, and local. The menu is inspired by the weekly harvests from the restaurant farm and the finest local bounty. Influenced by Korean and Japanese ingredients, philosophy and techniques, Namu is a much heralded addition to San Francisco's cutting edge Pan Asian dining scene. The word "namu" means wood or tree in Korean, as well as devotion or direction in Japanese Buddhist practice. From the exquisite natural cypress bar that anchors the contemporary minimalist room to the locally sourced natural meats and organic produce used in the creative menu, Namu Gaji represents devotion to nature and its bounty through food, drink and ambiance.
