Literati Cafe is a family-owned restaurant that was built to nourish the bodies, minds, and spirits of creative writers, artists and thinkers. Literati Cafe offers an organic, earth-friendly dining experience avoiding preservatives, fillers or additives. Our organic coffee is shade-grown and free-trade, and our tea is top notch loose-leaf. The entire restaurant uses filtered water, our mint lemonade is hand-made, our juices are fresh-squeezed, and we offer vegetarian and gluten free dishes and desserts to excite both your palate and your imagination. The reasonable prices at Literati Cafe are totally surprising because of the high quality of the food, especially when considered in relation to other restaurants in Los Angeles-- not to mention Brentwood. We serve extraordinary foods such as fresh farmed-raised eggs and chicken, organic mixed greens and shade-grown coffee. Despite a higher cost to us, our coffee is specially grown and pesticide-free (unlike most) but is priced to compete.
