Sunshine Dairy Foods sources fresh milk from family farms in the Willamette Valley of Oregon, the Yakima Valley and Chehalis, Washington. We are proud to be the first dairy in the NW to ally ourselves with family farmers who agree that natural is better and have always pledged not to inject their cows with the artificial growth hormone, rBST (recombinant Bovine Somatotropin), also known as rBGH (recombinant Bovine Growth Hormone). You can be assured that our milk is not only free of rBST, but each load is screened for antibiotics as well. Signed affidavits certify that farmers will not only abstain from using rBST, but will follow farm plans for humane animal treatment and environmental improvement. As the awareness and growth of natural foods increases, Sunshine Dairy is ready to meet the demand. All of our fluid dairy products, sour cream, and yogurt are rBST-free, and both our egg nog and chocolate milk are all natural. We are also an Oregon Tilth certified organic processor. We package our milk in opaque white jugs and paper cartons; protecting milk from light prevents oxidation so a glass of Sunshine Milk has all of the nutrients you expect and the best flavor possible. We believe that natural is better. Our farmers agree and they have pledged not to inject their cows with rBST, and they use no cloned cows for milk production. Our fluid milk, sour cream, cottage cheese, egg nog, yogurt, soft serve mix, and all natural chocolate milk are all produced using milk from dairy cows never treated with rBST. In addition to the products we produce, we offer many related products from local and sustainable sources.
