About Foggy River Farm

Our family farm is small and sustainable, focusing on high quality heritage produce and livestock. We use absolutely no pesticides (not even organic ones) on our produce, and we try to keep our purchases as local as possible -- for instance, we buy our drip tape at small, independent farm supply stores. We raise our livestock holistically with tender loving care, and give each animal individual attention. Our laying hens free-range on pasture along with our goats and sheep, and eat their fill of bugs, weeds, grass, organic grain, black oil sunflower seeds, crushed oyster shell (for strong egg shells and bones) and our organically grown produce. We are just starting up a herd of Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats and expect our first kids and milk in the Spring of 2010.
