Founding Farmers offers farm-inspired American food and drink in a modern, casual and eco-friendly setting. From their modern farmhouse, their menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner include homemade and 'scratch-made' traditional American classics inspired by the heartland, as well as a vegan menu that carefully recreates classic dishes to give you extraordinary flavors without the use of meat, fish, fowl, dairy, or eggs; while staying true to supporting family farmers and purveyors who are committed to sustainability. Founding Farmers are dedicated to environmentally friendly practices at every turn and are proud to be DC's first LEED (Gold) certified restaurant. They are a Certified Green Restaurant, and they offset greenhouse gas emissions through Carbonfund.org.
