About Greene Hill Food Coop

GHFC is a group of neighbors in Fort Greene /Clinton Hill/Bedford-Stuyvesant and surrounding areas who are working together to launch a new, not-for-profit cooperative grocery store. The food coop strives to offer locally and organically grown and otherwise quality, healthful, delicious and environmentally and socially friendly foods at low costs to its members. The coop is member owned and operated and the work we all share contributes to achieving our goals. In respecting the integrity of each person in the spirit of the cooperative, the coop embraces the diversity of our community, and works to ensure people from all socioeconomic backgrounds have access.
