Little Cupcake Bakeshop uses only the freshest whole foods from local purveyors where available, including whole Vermont butter, New Jersey eggs, European chocolate, and unbleached, unbromated flour. They exclusively serve Illy coffee and espresso, widely regarded as the finest coffee in Europe. All of their products are baked from scratch on premise.

Throughout their operational processes they attempt to meet the highest standards of environmental responsibility. Equipment is from certified procurers of green materials and products and they use energy efficient lighting, practices, equipment and toxic free chemicals in paints, oils, cleaners and floor treatments. In 2007, they became "Carbon Neutral." To neutralize the amount of carbon they cannot eliminate in our everyday operation, we donate proceeds to the Carbon Fund, a non-profit organization that plants trees which soak carbon to balance the carbon emissions released by the activity of their store. They consistently support and raise money for organizations promoting sustainability at the local, national and international level.
