The CornerStone Coffee and Bakery is located at Jardine Apartments at K-State. It provides residents and students with coffee and baked goods. It is intended to be environmentally friendly. The coffee shop and bakery is owned by the Department of Housing and Dining Services. The shop offers a full range of coffee, real fruit smoothies, muffins and scones, to name a few. "No other coffee shops in town are open 'til midnight, so students who are studying late who need that extra perk can come here and order coffee and baked goods," said Amy Armstrong, manager of CornerStone. The Fair Trade items provided at the coffee shop include chocolate, brewed and bagged coffee and tea. Equal Exchange is the Fair Trade company that the shop runs through.
