About Once Upon a Carrot
Once Upon a Carrot is a non-profit organization supporting local, sustainable, small family farms since 2009. Their mission is to forage our South Florida community to find farmers who practice good animal husbandry, use conservation practices while fishing, prepare foods using organic ingredients and grow produce without the use of pesticides, herbicides and other chemicals that will harm our water supply.
They scrutinize and visit each farm, interview each farmer and post their products onto the Once Upon a Carrot website for the busy professional, moms and seniors alike to have the availability to eat nutrient-dense foods. They deliver directly to customers' homes.
