This vegan bakery offers a large and diverse selection of cakes (please order 48 hours in advance): Turkish coffee cake, almond cake w/ seasonal fruit, double chocolate cake, chocolate ginger cake, double chocolate cake, chocolate blackberry cake, chocolate almond fig cake, Earl Grey tea cake, vanilla bean cake w/ vanilla frosting, raspberry vanilla bean cake, lemon almond poppy seed cake. They also make pies, tarts, sweet buns, scones, cookies, loaf cakes, and muffins. Tea, coffee, and kombucha are available. Modeled after community-supported agriculture co-ops, this tiny bakery also offers subscriptions to changing treats on-hand. Your weekly take-home box might include scratch-made granola or pizza dough or beans from local standout Courier Coffee Roasters, whose product is served at the counter. Most of their ingredients are sourced locally, making Dovetail Bakery a strong supporter of their local community as well as the sustainable community.
