Takoma Park Co-op
About Takoma Park Co-op
Takoma Park Silver Spring Co-op (TPSS) promotes healthful living by offering wholesome foods, high quality products and community resources in a clean, friendly and cooperative grocery store owned by its members. The produce section of TPSS is packed full with organic produce of all sorts. The variety of fruits, vegetables, and herbs at the co-op cannot be beat. TPSS is committed to selling local produce from small farmers as much as possible; local produce is fresher and buying it helps support the local economy. The co-op also has a floral section selling potted plants, seedlings, and fresh cut flowers. Sometimes conventional produce is offered when organic is unavailable but it is always separated from the organic and clearly marked as conventional. They make every effort to carry products from local vendors and products that are wholesome, ecologically friendly, and socially responsible and to offer those products at the lowest prices possible.Near This Listing
