Root Cafe hosts open mics, music and other events, offer delicious local and organic food and bakery, one of the widest tea selections in town, and freshly roasted coffee. They are dedicated sourcing ingredients that are local and organic. Their produce comes from local farms when in season, some of their veggies come from community gardens and farms in Lakewood, and some even comes from their friends' backyards! Enjoy exotic heirloom varietals and in-season specialties with a contemporary twist. Their vegan and vegetarian baked goods are made with love, in small batches, using whole wheat flour and organic and local ingredients when available.
