Fort Reno Community Garden
About Fort Reno Community Garden
The Fort Reno Community Garden has been in existence for over 30 years, and sits on National Park Service – Rock Creek Park land at historic Fort Reno. The garden is very small, with only 12 garden plots 25′ x 25′ each. The garden is subject to all the rules of National Park Service gardens (i.e., organic gardening only, trash pickup responsibilities, et cetera). NPS delivers wood chip mulch occasionally, and the gardeners keep a small compost heap and toolshed.Near This Listing
