The Brinery
About The Brinery
The Brinery strives to stimulate your inner economy. They are an Ann Arbor based business steeped in the ancient art of fermentation, specializing in all natural brine fermented vegetables such as sauerkraut, kimchi and pickles. Raw lacto fermented foods are rich in lactobacteria, similar to yogurt, and have many health benefits such as aiding digestion and boosting the immune system. They strive to source all of their produce from local family farms. Their products are small batch, artisinal, and seasonal. While they do try to keep the favorites around for you to enjoy, availability can fluctuate with the growing seasons. They also have many specialty batches only sold at their market stall at the Ann Arbor Farmer’s market. All of their products are raw and are therefore perishable. They have no preservatives, vinegar, sugar, are not pasteurized, and have not been canned. Refrigeration is necessary. Their mission is to stimulate peoples inner economy, as well as Michigan's economy. Find us at the Ann Arbor Farmers Market, Lunasa Market; and in these local Ann Arbor markets: Sparrow Market, Arbor Farms, The Peoples Food Co-op., and Produce Station.Near This Listing
