Edgewood Bakery
About Edgewood Bakery
Gary and Sandy Polletta, along with their daughter Krysti Bennett, own Edgewood Bakery. They pride themselves on their use of local products, and local companies to support their business. Located in the historic Murray Hill area of Jacksonville for over 40 years, they have become a staple in the neighborhood by being very active in their community. Not only do the Polletta’s use local resources to bolster their business, they also provide internship opportunities to local culinary students from FSCJ, the Art Institute, and Virginia College. Their food contains local produce, and reflects not only a seasonal flair, but a dedication to traditional southern food. Pecan, pumpkin and sweet potato pies are available in season, along with key lime pie all year long. Their breakfast and lunch menus includes grits (a southern staple), and fried-green-tomato BLTs, among other various items. All their baked goods use organic flour, real butter, and local eggs.Near This Listing
