About DogWood Gardens
DogWood Gardens is a small family-run CSA, in operation since 2007. We love to grow our own food. We provide produce 14-18 weeks of the growing season and we offer 15-20 shares per season. We operate our farm organically. We compost all our own plant matter and use chicken, goat and cow manure. We understand the importance of soil health, so we farm in a sustainable manner. We've been mentored by the folks at Calypso Farm. We use only organic fertilizers such as fish emulsion or bone and blood meal to amend the soil.
