About The Queens Kickshaw

The Queens Kickshaw is a labor of love for husband and wife team Ben Sandler and Jennifer Lim. They wanted to create a place and community that reflected their love for the neighborhood, and their passions for good food and drink.

The Queens Kickshaw serves specialty coffee, teas, pastries, fancy grilled cheese sandwiches, craft ales, and cider. The grilled cheese menu is a subtle nod to the food and cultural diversity of Queens, and is comprised of fresh, good quality ingredients.

They source as many ingredients locally as possible, obtaining greens and other produce from the Brooklyn Grange rooftop garden. Our bread comes from Balthazar Bakery, and our milk comes from Hudson Valley Fresh. In addition, we compost all of our leftovers which we then give to the Brooklyn Grange Farm for use in their soil.
