At Chicory Cafe, a sense of community is important to us. We partner with local Michigan food producers like Crooked Tree Breadworks and Plath's meats (both located in Petoskey, MI), featuring the former's artisanal bread and the latter's nitrate-free bacon in our establishment. Our honey and eggs are also local. In turn, we believe in sustainability; by supporting our community by working with local food providers, we're placing an emphasis on quality that will support us and our customers. Chicory Cafe offers vegetarian options as well as options for people with gluten, dairy, and other food allergies. Transparency and knowledge are essential; we know our food, and are happy to tell you about it! It's the little touches that make a difference, like our 100% compostable take-away containers and using pitchers, not bottles, to store and serve water.
