About Full Heart Farm

Full Heart Farm is a small, family farm in southeastern CT that encourages a return to the family table through meal-based farming. Our farm grows a variety of vegetables, fruits, herbs, eggs, and meat, marketed through Full Plate MemberShare Program. Our vegetables, herbs, berries, and cut flowers are all grown using minimum off-farm inputs. Though our farm is not certified organic, we have signed the CT NOFA Farmer's Pledge. We do not use synthetic fertilizers or chemical pesticides. Our animals are all raised outdoors, on pasture, using a rotational grazing system that improves both the health of the land and the health of the animal. While our animals are fed some grain and plenty of leftover vegetables, the majority of their diet comes from leaves, grass, and insects that they harvest themselves.
