Souvla is a Greek sandwich shop in Hayes Valley, serving spit-roasted meats sourced sustainably from local farmers, Greek wines, and Greek frozen yogurt for dessert. The setup at Souvla is simple: Make your choice of filling, have it served in a fresh pita or over salad, and choose a side. The meats are from local farms, and say so right on the menu. Currently, Souvla offers a selection of pork, chicken, lamb, or roasted white sweet potato. Like most Greeks, Souvla prides themselves on the quality of food they serve, and are happy to provide well-prepared, locally-sourced foods that feed their community.
