About Inter-Faith Food Shuttle Urban Farm
The IFFS Urban Farm is a demonstration site and training center located in Southeast Raleigh, a food desert. They make their owncompost and vermicompost and are in the process of building an aquaponicssystem. IFFS has partnered with the nearby Longview School to serve as a Regional Outreach Training Center for Growing Power, an internationally recognized urban agriculture organization started by MacArthur Genius Award winner, Will Allen. There is also a large community garden on site. Come visit and see how hunger can be fought with urban farming.
