Ruggles Hill Creamery
About Ruggles Hill Creamery
Ruggles Hill Creamery raises and milks goats for cheese. Their cheeses are available at various restaurants and store locations, but they also sell at the Harvard University Farmers' Market. Their goats graze pastures and browse the low woodlands daily depending on the season. The goats are also fed produce from the farm's garden and quality alfalfa and mixed grasses, along with a certified organic grain-based dairy pellet, non-GM shredded beet pulp, and black oiled sunflower seeds to foster body condition. The goats are vaccinated for tetanus and rabies but are given no prophylactic drugs. Antibiotics are only used if warranted by serious injury or illness.Near This Listing
