Humble Pie
About Humble Pie
Humble Pie opened its gates on July 10, 2013, and they have been serving up wood fired artisanal pizza and the best local beer they can find ever since. Philosophy: People, Planet, Pizza. They are committed to bringing sustainability into the core of what they do. The approach of the ‘triple bottom line’ that balances community benefit and environmental sustainability with profit, lies at the heart of Humble Pie’s creation. These values are reflected in every aspect of the restaurant’s physical design and daily operation, from the recycled building materials, to the minimal waste policy, to the locally-sourced organic ingredients. The physical space strives for simplicity and efficiency over high tech solutions to sustainability challenges; balancing Asian and Pacific Northwest architectural elements with urban farming. Above all, Humble Pie strives to be a welcoming space for community members and visitors alike to chat and connect over a cold pint and a slice of, in their humble opinion, rather delicious pizza. A Brief Note on Ingredients: Whenever able, they use quality organic ingredients sourced as close to home as possible. Their ultimate goal is delicious, healthy pizza that they are proud of serving, and you feel good about eating!
