Homecoming Farm
About Homecoming Farm
Homecoming is a not-for-profit organization and farm committed to sustainable farming and hunger work. One of the earliest certified organic farms on Long Island, Homecoming offers a NOFA-NY LLC Certified Organic Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) project, provides food for hunger relief in the area, and runs an organic gardening area at Sophia Garden and workshops both on-site and off. Homecoming Farm stresses organic farming practices that care for the soil that grows the food that nourishes our bodies, the air we breathe and the water that we drink. Growing organic vegetables enables people to connect to the Earth in a powerful way, understanding that how we care for the Earth has a direct impact on the quality of life for ourselves and generations to follow.Near This Listing
