The name, Jamison, reflects the restaurant's location on Jamison Square Park in Portland's Pearl District. The restaurant's handsome interior was, in part, fashioned out of 100 year-old barn wood and antique farm equipment salvaged from the historic Schmidt Brothers Pellet Mill—a working farm that once stood not far from the restaurant. Two fireplaces and a wall of large glass doors keep the restaurant cozy in winter and open to the park and their large dining patio in summer.
