Locally, Chef Owned and Operated, River Dog Cafe is a family friendly fast casual restaurant that offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They specialize in gourmet hot dogs with unique toppings such as brisket, house made mac n cheese, and honey truffle glaze. But they are so much more than hot dogs! Try their crispy duck BLT, grilled salmon, many vegetarian options, wraps, or homemade soups. River Dog uses only the best ingredients, including pasture raised, non-gmo eggs, local produce, Gerber chicken (an Ohio farm raised product that is free from antibiotics, additives, hormones, by-products and are fed a straight vegetarian diet), and their hot dogs are 100% Angus beef, grass fed, and uncured - there are no chemical nitrates added! Everything is made to order so it may not always be super fast, but they promise it will be super good. Doing it this way is not standard practice and it costs a bit more, but they feel you are worth it.
