Old Seeder Farm is a lovely 4 acre property in west Petaluma, CA. Brady and Meagan Schalich bought the piece of property in 2011 with plans to build a small house and start a farm. With lots of hard work the house was built, the blackberry bushes were cut back and the animals arrived.
They believe in and practice pasture based farming. They use rotational grazing and try to give the animals the most natural environment possible. In turn the animals have unlimited access to insects, native grasses, shade and shelter. The animals are moved daily to fresh pasture on the farm or near by neighboring properties.
