About Pisticci Restaurant

Pisticci is a bustling Italian trattoria serving creative, homespun dishes that start from scratch with food they've grown themselves in their own Full Circle Farm. They've built Pisticci to reflect their passions and values: a love of honest cooking, an appreciation for the arts, and a belief that business can make the world better. They also exhibit a new local artist every three months and host some of NYC's finest jazz every Sunday night. Stop in for an art opening or to soak up some live music.

Sticking to their values, Pisticci has started profit sharing with their employees, and set up flextime so they control their own hours and respect their goals. They also became a Green Certified Restaurant, and became New York's first 100% Carbon Neutral restaurant by switching from conventional energy to renewable wind energy, offsetting the rest by planting trees. They also developed an organic urban farm, Full Circle Farm, where their compost turns the restaurant's food waste into premium quality vegetables, and their farm practices are low impact and intensive.
