Waterfront Kitchen
About Waterfront Kitchen
A seed-to-plate restaurant that sources ingredients as locally and seasonally as possible, Waterfront Kitchen offers sweeping views of the Baltimore harbor from the westernmost tip of Thames Street in Historic Fells Point.
They've partnered with the Living Classrooms Foundation and developed a joyous bond with the Foundation's BUGS (Baltimore Urban Gardening with Students) program, which teaches inner-city grade school kids about gardening, good nutrition, applied academics and more. A percentage of their profits support the program and, working with their chefs and partners, BUGS kids grow produce for the restaurant in gardens and a greenhouse just down the street.
