Rock and Rye Tavern
About Rock and Rye Tavern
Three years ago Rock and Rye breathed life into a 1750s tavern belonging to one of the founding families of New Paltz, the Eltings. It's proven to be the perfect backdrop for their farm to table Tavern, craft cocktails, microbrews and small-production wines. They work with local farms to bring you the best the Hudson Valley has to offer. Enjoy a quiet Summer meal on the screened in patio or warm yourself by the wood-burning stove in winter. Rock and Rye supplies most of the ingredients for their offerings from local farms, and though their providers often rotate, some of their favorites include: Big Little Farm, Huguenot Street Farm, Hudson Valley Cattle Company, Gill farm, and Taliaferro Farm, among several others.
