About Community Loaves

Community Loaves started in 2011 here in Jacksonville as an organic bike-delivered subscription bakery. They bake all organic, sourdough bread and whole grain pastries which they serve at their Bread Shop alongside organic coffee and tea. Community Loaves also holds regular pizza nights, skill days, and farm to table dinners in their garden. They regularly use locally sourced and organically grown produce from Down to Earth, an organic vegetable farm on the Westside of Jacksonville run by Brian and Kristen Lapinski. Community Loaves also serves as a drop off location for Down To Earth's CSA program, offering a weekly vegetable box that includes a seasonal variety of produce grown on their small farm, and is available as either a half ($15/week) or full ($30/week) size.
