About The Local
The Local is a full service restaurant serving dinner nightly and is closed Sunday and Monday. The fare is 'eclectic new American' with an emphasis on local products and regional recipes. Chef/Owner Wes Dier is an award winning chef that has trained under several James Beard award winning chefs, including Melissa Kelly, Tom Colicchio and Larry Forgione. Dier has received much critical acclaim for his use of organic vegetables, homegrown herbs, local cheeses, grassfed meats and artisanal poultry, all from farms in the area which he lists, in detail, on his website. They also have a full bar, serving high end premium spirits and feature an all American wine and beer list.
