Jen, the owner and chief gelato maker at Bucket & Bay, wasn't always a gelato maker. For many years she had a corporate job, managing a team of 15 smart professionals. It was a job that she really enjoyed. Ultimately, she reconnected with a life-long passion: FOOD! And after two years of studying, training, testing, and planning, Jen is ready to make the most amazing food - Gelato - and to show you how. Why? Because like many of you, she wants her kids to look up to her work and be proud that she followed her dreams. Jen is passionate about instilling in them a healthy relationship with food. To experience it together as a family every night. To care where it comes from. To appreciate a myriad of flavors. To be inquisitive. Bucket & Bay is churning gelato from scratch, using only the finest, responsibly sourced ingredients - think grass-fed cows, farmers market produce, and fair trade chocolate. They're doing this right in the middle of their wide open kitchen so you can experience the alchemy!
