W&T Seafood is a family owned shellfish purveyor specializing in oysters and carrying a variety of clams and mussels as well. Oysters are sourced from many farmers and farm cooperatives including from Long Island, the New Jersey Cape, Connecticut, and Rhode Island.

W&T Seafood accepts online orders for pickup every day but Sunday through their website, and accepts walk-in customers on Fridays from 3pm to 6pm. Come stop by, try some new oysters, and learn how to shuck your own!

Oysters, mussels, and clams are a healthy source of quality protein, vitamins, and minerals, which are low on the food chain and easy to prepare.

Oyster farming is one of the only types of aquaculture that actually improves the environment. A single oyster can filter up to 50 gallons of water a day, eating algae blooms that might otherwise harm a water system. Oyster cages also act as a sort of protective nursery for baby crabs, fish, and other sea creatures, thus improving biodiversity. Oyster shells can then be planted back in the water to allow wild oysters to set. Oyster farmers care deeply about the environment, their livelihoods depend on pristine water so there no better stewards of our waterways. W&T Seafood is proud to work with the most dedicated shellfish farmers to bring the best quality oysters, mussels, and clams to New Yorkers.
